You may choose to change instructors at any time. At Italian School NJ, we are proud to have many highly professional teachers, each with their own unique teaching style. Italian School NJ assigns teachers by considering many aspects of the students, but students may also choose the instructor who best fits their own preferences.
Semi-Private Lessons are designed for 2 students and one teacher. These lessons are perfect for people who wish to study intensively without losing the positive aspect that comes with interacting with other students. Lesson content, day, and time can be arranged according to all students' requests.

Semi-Private Lessons are designed for 2 students and one teacher. These lessons are perfect for people who wish to study intensively without losing the positive aspect that comes with interacting with other students. Lesson content, day, and time can be arranged according to all students' requests.

Lessons can be held in person or online.
In Person Semi-Private Lessons
Please note that if all the students are part of the same household, the discount rate applies. Please refer to the Family Private Lessons if all the students are from the same household.
In person Lessons are held at our East Hanover office. If a different location is required, an additional fee may apply.

In person Semi-Private Lessons are designed for 2 students with one teacher. Students can customize their learning experience to fit their own needs and goals.
Italian School NJ will create a dedicated class calendar based on the number of lessons purchased. The calendar will be provided to the students prior to the start of the class for approval.
Packages available for In Person Semi-Private Lessons (2 students, 1 hour long).
Single trial in person Semi-Private lesson – $65 per student
Package of 4 in person Semi-Private lessons – $250 per student
Package of 6 in person Semi-Private lessons – $470 per student
Please note: Books are not included in the cost of the packages.
Additional Information:
Semi-Private lesson tuition is based on a 60-minute session. If a student wishes to have a 90-minute session, the cost will be prorated.
If a student purchases a single lesson and then decides to buy a package, the tuition paid for the trial lesson may be counted toward the package.
In-person Semi-Private lessons are available only before 6:30 PM. If you need private lessons after 6:30 PM, please check our online private lessons option.

In person small group classes are held at our East Hanover office. If a different location is required, an additional fee may apply.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy:
A 24-hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule an upcoming lesson. Lessons can be cancelled or rescheduled by notifying the teacher directly. If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, the lesson will be charged in full.
