Family Lessons
Our programs are designed to fit your schedule and learning style.
Enjoy flexible, personalized lessons in a fun and supportive environment, available both in person and online.
Family lessons can be held online or in-person. In-person lessons are held at our East Hanover office. If a different location is required, additional fees may apply. Please email [email protected] for details.
In person family lessons are available only before 6:30pm. After 6:30pm we offer only the online family lessons option.
Please note that the teacher will determine whether students are compatible to attend lessons together or if they should be divided into smaller groups.

In-Person Family Lessons
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy:
A 24-hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule an upcoming lesson. Lessons can be cancelled or rescheduled by notifying the teacher directly. If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, the lesson will be charged in full.
In person Family lessons can be done with 2, 3 or 4 members of the same household with one teacher.
In person Family Lessons (2 students + 1 teacher) - Packages available:
Single trial Family 2-1 in person lesson (60 minute each) - $125
Package of 4 Family 2-1 in person lessons (60 minute each) - $475
Package of 8 Family 2-1 in person lessons (60 minute each) - $890
In person Family Lessons (3 or 4 students + 1 teacher) - Packages available:
Single trial Family 3/4-1 in person lesson (60 minute each) - $160
Package of 4 Family 3/4-1 in person lessons (60 minute each) - $595
Package of 8 Family 3/4-1 in person lessons (60 minute each) - $1,050
Note: To qualify for these rates, all students must be part of the same household.
Please note: Books are not included in the cost of the packages.
Additional information:
- If a student purchases a single lesson and then decides to buy a package, the tuition paid for the trial lesson may be counted toward the package.

- The 4-lesson package should be used within 8 weeks from the first lesson, the 8-lesson package should be used within 4 months from the first lesson, and the 12-lesson package should be used within 8 months from the first lesson.
- In person family lessons are available only before 6:30pm. If you need private lessons after 6:30pm please check our online family lessons option.
- You may choose to change instructors at any time. At Italian School NJ we are proud to have many highly professional teachers of which each one of them has its own unique teaching style. Italian School NJ assigns the teacher considering many aspects of the students but the student can also choose an instructor that better fits its own preferences.
- Private Family lessons are designed to be 60 minute long sessions but if a student wishes to have 90 minute sessions we can offer that at a prorated tuition.

Online lessons are taught in real time with a highly qualified teacher via Zoom
