English as a
Second Language (ESL)
English lessons in various formats: private, semi-private, or family lessons.
For anyone who have recently arrived and are working for or alongside American corporations, English is not only a necessity in the work place, but a fundamental element of assimilation into the American culture. Having encountered many Italians that after moving in the USA still lack in their confidence to properly speak the English language and therefore are impacted in their everyday life and even prevented to apply for jobs in career they already already had in their home land, we have decided to launch this NEW classes.

Private & Semi-Private English Lessons
English tutoring is available for adults and children as private lessons, or multiple family members can be accommodated in semi-private or family sessions. Lessons can be held in-person or online.
Private and semi-private lessons are held at our East Hanover office. If a different location is required, an additional fee may apply. Please email [email protected] for more information and fees.
Packages Available:
1-hour private lessons — 4 classes: $300
1.5-hour private lessons — 4 classes: $400
1-hour 2-1 small group lessons — 6 classes: $330
1.5-hour 2-1 small group lessons — 6 classes: $450
1.5-hour 3-1 small group lessons — 6 classes: $330
Note: To apply the semi-private rate, all students must be present for the lesson.
Private & Semi-Private English Lessons
Italian School NJ has already worked with many Italian families who have moved to the United States and are interested in learning and enriching their English.
Tuition for Individual Private Lessons:
$75 — 1-hour session
$100 — 1.5-hour session
Tuition for Semi-Private Lessons (2 students, 1 teacher):
$55 — 1-hour session per student
$75 — 1.5-hour session per student
Note: This rate applies only if both students are present for the lesson.
Semi-Private Lessons (3 students, 1 teacher):
$55 — 1.5-hour session per student
Note: This rate applies only if all 3 students are present for the lesson.
Tuition must be paid in advance for at least 4 lessons.
Family English Lessons
Family lessons can be done by 1 teacher with 2, 3 or 4 students, which are members of the same household. It will be up to the teacher’s discretion to determine whether students are compatible to attend lessons all together or divide them in groups.
A 24-hour notice is required to cancel an upcoming lesson.

FAMILY English Lessons
Semi-Private Family Lessons (2 students + 1 teacher):
$95 — 1-hour lesson for both students
$130 — 1.5-hour lesson for both students
Semi-Private Family Lessons (3–4 students + 1 teacher):
$110 — 1-hour lesson for all students
$145 — 1.5-hour lesson for all students
Tuition must be paid in advance for at least 4 lessons.
Packages Available:
1-hour 2-1 Family Lessons — 4 lessons: $380
1.5-hour 2-1 Family Lessons — 4 lessons: $520
1-hour 3-1 Family Lessons — 4 lessons: $440
1.5-hour 3-1 Family Lessons — 4 lessons: $580
Note: To qualify for these rates, all students must be part of the same household.
ESL English classes
ESL classes will be open to anyone who wish to learn or improve their English.
ESL classes will start soon. Schedule to be determined.
